Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel or change plans anytime from your account. Billing stops at the end of the current period, and any already-scheduled meetings still go ahead. Enterprise plans follow the MSA you sign.
How is this different from a directory, marketplace, or cold outreach tool?
SouthStarter doesn’t dump lists or blast emails. You share a brief → we create a vetted shortlist with “why-fit” notes → you approve → we get consent from both sides and book the call. It’s outcome-based (booked meetings), not activity-based (profiles or messages).
How do warm, double-opt-in introductions work?
After you approve a shortlist, we privately ask each person if they want the intro. Only when both sides say yes do we share contacts and place a calendar invite. Declines and no-replies don’t count; no-shows are replaced; reschedules don’t use another meeting.
What do “guaranteed meetings” mean for Enterprise?
Your plan sets a monthly number of booked, double-opt-in meetings (an SLA). If we miss it, you receive service credits or extra meetings at no cost. Assumes timely brief approvals and reasonable ICP scope.
Where do customers, experts, or investors come from - and how are they vetted?
Matches come from partner networks, community referrals, curated research, and previous users. Each proposed contact includes a “why-fit” rationale (role, context, recent activity) and basic verification (company/LinkedIn, references when applicable). We always obtain consent before an intro.
How do pricing, fair use, and data privacy work?
Pricing is tied to booked meetings per month; shortlist previews are “fair use.” We operate double-opt-in only, never share contacts without consent, and offer optional NDAs. Meeting notes are created only with consent; you control what’s stored, can export, and can request deletion. Data is used to improve your matching and attribution.
How do you get people to opt in to an intro?
SouthStarter sends a short, value-first request with a clear “why-fit” (role, context, and what the call is about). If there’s a mutual contact, the ask goes through that warm path first. The recipient can accept/decline with one tap. No contact details are shared and no invite is sent until both sides say yes. Optional NDA and a brief context pack are available for sensitive topics.
What if someone declines, doesn’t reply, or no-shows?
Declines and no-replies don’t count toward your quota. We send at most one gentle reminder, then the request expires. If a confirmed meeting cancels or no-shows, SouthStarter replaces it at no cost. We log accept/decline reasons to improve future matches and messaging.
